GETTING HERE

Our Recommended Route

The nation of Vanuatu stretches across 1,300km of the South Pacific Ocean, east of Australia, northeast of New Caledonia and west of Fiji. Kwakea Island is in the northern end of Vanuatu’s chain of islands, a short 20-minute boat ride from Sola Domestic Airport.

From Australia, New Zealand, Fiji or New Caledonia you can fly in to Vanuatu’s capital Port Vila – Bauerfield International airport – From here you connect onto the domestic flight to Santo Luganville Pekoa airport where your private charter flight will now take you the rest of the way to Sola. Here is where Brett will be waiting your arrival and take you on the short boat ride across to Kwakea Island!

As an indication of cost, you can expect around $1,600 AUD for the round trip from either Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne or Auckland (this includes the charter service from Santo).

We recommend you book your flights as a Multi-City Booking with Air Vanuatu via www.airvanuatu.com. If in doubt, call them on Australian number 1300 780 737 or contact Brett for his local knowledge and assistance.

Remember – to only book your flights with Air Vanuatu to as far as Santo Pekoa Airport. The last leg of your journey will be a charter service which I will organise. The same goes for your return home.
